Special Olympics Anne Arundel County always needs volunteers to assist before and during weekly practices. Volunteers assume a variety of roles, including:
specialized training for track events (e.g., long jump, high jump, shot put),
organizing relay teams,
practice set-up and planning,
athlete sign-in,
special events planning.
We look forward to seeing you on the track!
Ready to get in the game with Special Olympics Anne Arundel County? 1. Contact Eva Tucholski at [email protected] to register as a volunteer. Eva will make sure you have the forms you need and any information about further training that may be required. For the protection of our volunteers, athletes, and organization, all volunteers are required to have a valid Volunteer Application & Credential on file with the state office. Your volunteer credential is valid with Special Olympics Maryland across the state in our many programs! Once completed, you can volunteer as much as you want, wherever you want, without the need for filling out more paperwork!
2. Once you are processed as an SOAA Volunteer, please click the link below to note which dates you will not attend practice: this is very useful as coaches plan practices accordingly to the number of volunteers available! Thanks, in advance!
